Dancing with the Stars

I'm practicing the waltz, waltzing with the mouse, of course! Today the Mouse is the star and he can Waltz with the best of them - Maks, Tony, Cheryl, Edyta and the stars, well he can out step Brooke, Evan, and Carrie Ann!
Let's start dancing. If you dance on over to The Waltzingmouse House you can see all the terrific ideas and projects on that forum and you don't even have to 'hop' from blog to blog. Claire has it set up that you can waltz from one crafter to another in the comfort of your chair and not one worry if your server can't dance!
The theme of the WMS waltz is Mother's Day! Your card/project can be for a Mom, MIL, new Mom, an expectant Mom, even some one that's like a Mom to you. I have a dear Aunt that has relocated and did not get a birthday card from me due to lack of address, sooo.......this will be a late bday, early Mother's Day card. The inside is finished with..."birthday"!She really likes the cards that I make so she will be thrilled. She's my late Mom's baby sister and the only one remaining of her generation. She's also my Godmother, so that makes her extra special. Guess I better hunt her down on the internet and get her address!!!
I made my own vase with the stamps from Celtic Heritage. the flowers...any one recognize them? Correct, they are the shamrocks that were freebies for the St Patrick's Day Blogging dance/waltz! I just couldn't do them green again so I used that artistic license that I pay so much $ for and did them in blue and yellow using my WC markers. My card base is 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches in Pacific Point CS, with Barely Banana and the EF from SU. I stamped my images on GP CS and added a cut out of the top piece, then used label 5 to cut it out (sprayed the label and image with homemade glimmery paint), let it dry, and then sewed it all down, one layer at a time.  My sentiment is attached to a piece of acetate and will push it down into the flowers more when it comes time to mail it! I sprinkled some Dazzling diamonds in the center of each flower. There's plenty of shimmer and sparkle, IRL. I just had to have a bumblebee so there is one wee stamp that is not WMS, artistic license comes in handy once again!  To get over to The Waltzingmouse click on the name.
Thanks for coming by! I'm over at WMS, dancing and looking for watermarks that could win me a prize!!!
See ya there!!

It was a great pleasure to help with your link on WMS forum. It took me 5h49m to do the 56km run this year. My best run on that race was in 1995 when I did it in 4h40m.
