Waltzingmouse Blog Hop

The hop has started. To see all the entrants and count leprechauns go see WMS  and find out what all the hub bub is about.

Welcome to the hop!!!!

March 17, 2010 and it's St Patrick's Day all over the world.

Here's my card using the freebie that Claire offered here. It's green and purple with a real safety pin holding the ribbon in place.

The position of the image on my cs from the printer made it impossible to get a perfect cut with the die. I had already colored it so there was no going back. I cut the purple cs out using the SU Big Note die and glued it over the white cs. Clean and simple was my objective.
Green shamrocks, of course, and purple for loyalty. My paternal ancestors were from Ireland, the Duffy's.

*ED Note: Purple is royalty not loyalty, so sorry for the error.

THANKS FOR COMING BY!!!!!!
AND I HOPE YOU ENJOY THE HOP. GOOD LUCK.
LUCK O' THE IRISH TO YA'!!!!!!

You balanced the positioning with the ribbon below - I wouldn't have known if you hadn't said! Why do we always point out our mistakes to each other first, LOL!!!! Knitters do the same thing! Wonderful card, lovely colors!
