My Blue Belle

Oh, I don't know how to spell it!!! My favorite ice cream is Blue Bell. I don't need to know how to spell it!
i eat it. I don't go to spelling bees in Washington, DC. i eat BB ice cream. It's still one half gallon, not 1.5 or 1.75, but that's not why I like it. It is the best tasting, melt in your mouth ice cream...ever. It's not too creamy, it's not 'gritty'. Oh, go buy some for your self. If your not sure which flavor try mint chocolate chip. MMMMM. the coffee is good and there's another coffee flavor that I can't remember the name. I bought it in the real small size at Target once and haven't seen it since. yes, buy the real small size to try out a new flave.
Are you wondering where I am going with this? Prolly not since I do tend to go off on a tangent that has nothing to do with making a card....BUT       YOU      ARE        WRONG. This is all about a card.

                             MINT                 CHOCOLATE                          CHIP

and here it is my version of MCC

Splitcoast stampers has a challenge called CAS58. A crafter is required to create a card with brown and green and they call it MCC. Right up my fat cells alley, yessireeee! Used the Medallion and stamped it twice, once with CC and once with Mint Melody, a retired ink from SU. Cut, distressed and sponged the green, punched out the brown center, now covered with Chocolate satin ribbon and MM paper. Used the Vintage Vogue for the sentiment and a little CC ink got on the cs unintentionally and was covered with a MM butterfly from Beautiful Wings. Poked two holes in the small brown circle and tied some DMC to it and popped it up. Inside, there is a matching MM liner for a message or sentiment. clean and simple. I used the sketch from Jen del Muro's SFYTT here.
I offset the white cs to preserve the integrity of the circle yet stay inside the dimension of the  4 1/4 x 5 1/2' card.

Thanks for coming by!

Oh, yummy! I love how you used these colors and I love brown and green together. That ribbon is so smooth and the circle swirl is beautiful!
