Basket of flowers for a happy bday

Paper pieced another digital image. This is better than coloring with pencils. It takes longer than coloring, but it is more satisfying to me. I suppose that it may be the layering that's involved that has me loving it.
First, I laid the basket weave down over the base, then I cut out the C. Celery, then the individual flowers. I took my finger craft knife and cut the green leaves so they would pop up, out and over the flowers. then I glued down the flowers and glitter penned the centers. I used scrap coordinating papers to match the flowers and punched out more flowers in the same papers. the papers are SU and were scraps from the larger pieces.
My image was cut from a Nestie, label 5 and sponged with TH Tea Dye. Ranger's Tim Holtz distressing inks are right next to my work area, I just have to have them close by. The center of the tiny punched out flowers I used a sepia glossy Accents covered with SU's dazzling diamonds. Yes, I have glitter all over me and the desk.
Thanks for coming by!
