SFYTT challenge...third time is the charm

I need a special card for a special friend and i have left the sentiment off for now.
Jen del Muro is back in my life for the third installment of the fantastic February SFYTT!!

I am officially caught up as this is the post for Feb 20th, that's today. You won't see another of Jen's fabuloso sketches til next week. Aren't you sorry?

There it is ladies and gentlemen the card you have all been waiting for!!! Oops, sorry, wrong blog!! LOL
I learned to make these flowers this week over at Julie's blog, Paper Pleasing Ideas. I would send you to You tube to check it out but I don't know how to link 2 Utube. In a nut shell - you take a piece of SU cs, 3 x 3" and crumble it all up, re-crumble a couple of times. Open it up again and you can see where the paper is separating. Gently separate the two layers. The inside feels so soft. Now punch out your flowers. I used the five pointed one from EK success. Layer two or three layers with the soft side up and lay on top of a green regular pc of cs, not crumbled up. Pierce a hole and put brad through. Voila! Did you get that explanation? I used SU's pastels to color in the image.

Stamps: Garden Collage
Paper: Orchid Opulence, Barely Banana, white, Pink Passion (flowers)
Ink: O Opulence, Pallette Noir
Tools: CB ef, Textile, Swiss dots, Argyle
Incidentals: ribbon, brad

This card is fantastic, love those hand made flowers. Also really cool to cut the main image into four squares like that. I love this card, your friend will be thrilled.
