Clean or NOT?

This is the sign for our dishwasher! It's made on a piece of wood, stained with distressed inks and then decorated with paper, a  Popsicle stick that is imprinted with 'live simply', ribbon and brads. There were holes already made along the top and those wood looking things are tops of tooth picks holding the black DMC floss. This was the final VSN challenge on April 29. Carole called it 'walk the plank' and challenged us to use wood, of some sort and the bonus was to use brads to attach to the project. for a view of the other side...
I actually used those Scrabble letters and then punched them out to fit. The renovated Christmas ornament
measures 3 7/8 x 2 5/8". After 42 years it's time to let the other peeps know if dishes are clean or not.
'Live simply' means not to rewash clean dishes and save our natural resources.
Thanks for coming by!
OOOPS...No WAIT....

There's one more from the VSN on April 29th......the fourth challenge was
"Pretty Polly" and Carisa challenged us with
creating a card using traditional parrot colors of Green, Orange & Yellow  with  optional splashes of blue.
That green striped ribbon is Wild Wasabi ...believe it or not!!
It looks so much darker in this shot. I turned off the flash on this one and it came out the best of all three photos. With the exception of the card base all the papers were scraps.
The blue MS  "Fence' punch was laying on my desk waiting to be "86'd"!
Now...it's time to say THANKS and stopping by to say Hello!
