If you've been keeping up here the theme for this challenge is was a secret. The secret is out! It's about flowers or Mother's Day or both. I have no flowers and I did not do a typical Mother's Day project. My friend is a Mom and Dad to his kids so I made him a 'Dad is the Mom' gift set. He likes little notes to send to the kids' teachers every once in a while.

So I made a card, little 3 x3 note cards and a box to put them in using Digi Doodle Shop's 'Deer and fawn'.
You can purchase the image here at DDS. For the card, I used a Mojo Monday sketch. My sentiment says '24-7' from Fanciful Flexible Phrases from SU since a Mom's job is 24-7....right?
The box is 3 1/2" square to accommodate the cards and envies and 1 1/2" deep since the easel note cards are thick. The DP is grass, and looks like a photograph.

There's twine on each item and some aged copper hardware. Here's one of the note cards. The three embellishments are just punched out 1/4' circles and covered with Glossy Accents.

Each note is different, but with the same elements.

 The deer were printed then colored on the card base using Prismacolor Pencils and OMS
Then the Hunter Green and Soft Suede frame was glued down over the deer making it look like a multi-layered card! Can you see what is different in the two cards? It's the same card, just an itty bitty difference!
