It's Your Day

It's week two at Verve. Really, it's week three, but I'm posting my week 2 challenge over at SplitcoastStampers.
It's a great chance to win a Verve Stamp Set. There are four challenges posted each month, one per week and you have til the end of that month to get your cards done and posted and linked to SCS. Do the math, I have two done and two to go and plenty of time. SCS gives you the sketch and the rooms for inspiration. You can even use a room in your own home for color ideas, but your room has to be the same kind of room as theirs. Like their rooms this month are hobby rooms so you would pick your hobby room to inspire you using a Verve sketch. this week Week two sketch:

And the card. I took the carpet, the bit of green from the lamp, the leaves outside on the tree...look hard there has to be leaves...it's a tree...LOL and the white.

White craft ink on the Ballet Blue, green ribbon and leaves and a Verve sentiment from a small stamp set called Party Time. If I'm lucky week three and four will be posted next week and then whoo hoo I can be entered to win a stamp set for the month of May. Card measures 4 x 6 1/2 inches.
