Waltz

Waltzingmouse Stamps is having their monthly waltz today and to celebrate Claire's one year. Projects must have WMS stamps on them. I got into another tea bag folding frenzy and here's my birthday card to WMS.

I took my finger craft knife to the stamped image and cut around the top left to place the tea bag fold mat in behind it. Just for a different look. I used my WMS stamp sets Celtic Heritage and Irish Blessings for all the stamping. For the tea bag folding I cut out my squares and then stamped on them, then folded kites and diamonds and followed a pattern from a TBF notebook from HOTP.  The picture doesn't do it justice. IRL you can see all the layers and it does look pretty cool, in my not so humble opinion! Can you see the WMS initials? Look closer... but there are no teacups here!!!! LOL
Thanks for coming by, enjoy the waltz!!

STAMPS: as above
PAPER: True thyme and Cranberry Crisp, white copy paper for the folding
INK:  True Thyme, Cranberry Crisp
TOOLS: My hands and a craft knife

I clicked for a larger image cause I just had to see what you had done. I'm amazed how much work and detail that is to do. It's a lovely card.

Oh wow, this is something new to me. It's stunning - love the way you used the crest and put the Waltzing Mouse initials in there too. Great card x

This is wonderful. I briefly flirted with tea bag folding a few years back, but it ended in bandaids and tears, so I don't go there anymore. All the more reason to admire those who do! The initials were a fun, clever little addition.
