Buttons and the MOUSE

................the Waltzing MOUSE that is...............
The challenge this month is to use buttons....as many or as few as you would like.
If you would like to go see all the terrific button creations...head over to the
Waltzingmouse forum....If you have never been there...it takes less than one minute to sign in.
You won't be sorry...the DT is fabulous with all of their projects.
The head MOUSE with all the cheese is Claire and she designs some awesome stamp sets.
Her blog is here.
The design team links can be found in Claire's blog on the right side bar if you have an inkling to check them out. Look for the symbol like mine above for the February waltz blog posts.
I decided,  once again, to make two cards for the button challenge.
The first one is "Birthday Wishes", a sentiment from the Teeny Trees stamp set.
This card just so happens to fit right into the challenge at
Waltzingmouse Sketch challenge, too

The second card, has "Big Blooms" stamped in two different sizes with separate centers....
make that three different sizes with four different stamps.
AND BUTTONS!!!!!

The green leaves are from 'Teeny Trees' and so is the 'thank you'.
Keeping this short since I am thinking there will be many blogs to visit and a game to play!
Thank you so much for coming by!

These are so different. Love the colours and papers in the first card, and that ribbon with ruffle is wonderful. And I adore the big blooms cards - so pretty!

Joanne, I LOVE LOVE that orange gingham ribbon all ruffled up! But then, you probably knew that I would! That card is so perfect for the button waltz with the dp that you chose! The second card is just blooming good fun. Love how you mixed the colors on the stamped ones. GORGEOUS waltz cards, as always Stampinmims!

Great cards, Joanne! Your DP choice on the first one is perfect and the gingham ribbon is delicious - what is IT about gingham?! And I love the fact that you layered the blooms on the second card.

Hello again, Joanne. Thank you so much for visiting my blog. I really appreciate it lot. :D

In answer to your question, I stamped the small, solid stamps from the Vintage Circle stamps in two colours of pigment ink and then used a pokey tool (or needle tool) to make the button holes. After this, I used glossy accents to make the 'buttons' nice and glossy. That's it really. :D
