Birthday wishes-365

Happy Birthday to YOU!
Jules' bday is next week, exactly one week from today!
It's rude to ask a lady her age...so don't!
AND I won't either!
I made her a card for her challenge request!
Tim Holtz taught me a new trick.
WAIT FOR IT!

First things first....Happy birthday, Jules!
Have a happy birthday 365 days a year, you deserve it!
Head over to Jules blog and get the details, from her blog make her a card, and win some fabulous digital images from her STORE...$10.00 worth!

OK
the wait is over......
Tim had his annual 12 Tags of Christmas  and one of the techniques he used is...
taking the plastic packaging and run it through with an embossing folder!
I used a Cuttlebug Snowflakes ef for this card!
Jules is freezing her tail off in the brilliant snow, and how better to wish her a HB than
with a happy snowman to brighten her days!
I'll be back with more details, but for now my DH wants to take me to breakfast.
AND there's nothing worse than keeping your man waiting when he is HUNGRY!
Love this spring card fold from SCS.
I'll be back when my tummy is full of .....let's see eggs benedict sounds good this Sunday morning!

An hour later.....
Breakfast was great! I hate half and brought home the rest.
Guess when you get old the tummy just doesn't hold as much!!!!
OK
enough of that...on to the card.
I saw this spring card first at Vickie Yeakley's blog!
She does some beautiful creating!
The directions were on the resource page at SCS under 'spring card'....duh!!!
Very simple fold with a very different look! Try it...You'll like it!!
For Tim's idea take a plastic package...a flat piece and cut it, then
run it through your machine with your ef of choice!
I used brads to secure my embossed plastic, use your
imagination for yours. My plastic was from a Sizzix  Christmas bundle that
had two folders and a die with holly leaves and berries.
Happy creating.
Happy Birthday to Jules, again...365!!!!!!!
thanks for coming by!

Oh wow, Joanne. What a great card with all of your dimension. It's such a great idea to use your acetate to add all the wonderful texture. Nicely done.
