Party Time

This card I kept basically simple yet met the challenge of color and sketch for the Verve challenge on SCS.
This is June's week two and I opted for room one with all the white, lime green and hints of blue and pink. paper pieced the Verve 'Feel the Sun' flower and put the ribbon down first and the pieces over it. Hit the scraps drawers again. I am loving the fact that my scraps are getting used! the ribbon was not a scrap and I just love how it 'waves' up. Just put sticky tape on the back of the ribbon making sure that you do not pull the backing off all at once. as the ruffling progresses pull off the backing. is that clear as mud? i use my paper piercer to get the little waves and it keeps my sticky fingers out of the way. You could lay the sticky tape down on the paper and then ruffle the ribbon, but I haven't tried that way, yet.
Thanks for coming by!
Leave a little love before you go!
