I used the library due date card for a bookmark. When I saw Casual Fridays and WMSC challenges this morning...they screamed, "Make yourself a bookmark!"
Casual Fridays- clean and simple wanted a color block theme and
WMSC-using WMS stamps wanted to celebrate their one year by using a sketch from the last fifty-two.
AND I wanted a bookmark-------
I stamped the yellow plaid with a tea cup and punched a few circles and glued to make a button and attached the button to the oval with the ribbon.
I used WMS challenge 29 for my inspiration.
The large oval is attached only by the ribbon at the top and the teapot is attached with only the two brads to the tag base.
Thanks for coming by!
PS. Just found The Kraft Journal is looking for summer themed projects for Make It Monday!!! Nothing says summer to me like reading and going to the library. So, will add this bookmark to the Summer Challenge.Mimi's summer camp has weekly trips to the library for books and crafts for my grand daughter, Megan.

Ohhh that sounds like a great book- I will have to go check if my library has large print books.....Love your after tea sentiment- I love my tea!!! I read blogs....LOL
I love reading too - and sometimes I like nothing more that curling up in my chair with a cup of coffe and a nice thick book :) Joy!
Your book mark is super - I really like the teapot and sentiment!! It's great!
What a unique idea for a bookmark--very cute! And the sentiment is perfect!
you turned this sketch into a great bookmark joanne-I dont read nearly as much as I should - between cards & blogs there never seems to be enough time
Oh so many books, so many stamps to play with, and so little time! I, too, love to read and have been "stuck" on the same book for about 4 months because I just get distracted and find something else that I have to do. I need to make myself a cute little reminder like this, it's perfect! Love your use of the sketch, and the way you used those adorable Afternoon Tea images!
This is an adorable book mark! I am so glad you could play along at CAS-ual Fridays!
Oh how cute!

I can so relate to you about summer reading and your love of the library. I feel the exact same way. :) Your bookmark is adorable. The sentiment makes me smile and the teacup and teapot are so fun. Thanks for sharing this with us at the Kraft Journal.
I wish I had more time to read!!! I do love your take on the sketch, looks great! Thanks for playing along with the Mischief Makers this week!
I'm a library nut too. Don't know if I'll ever be able to go to the electronic reading world. I love a book in my hand. Your book mark is just wonderful! We're so glad that you shared it with us this week at The Kraft Journal!
