Recycling Christmas wrappings

One of the challenges this week over at SCS is to use
1. an image from a greeting card
2. a scrap of wrapping paper
3. a ribbon or bow or fixing from a gift
to create a new card.

Took the wrapping paper that is the background and crumbled it up even more than it was to give it the cracked effect having more white come through, tore it on one end attached it to the white base, then dabbed it with a bronze ink pad. Cut Jesus and Mary from a card that was from my cousin, this year. Thanks to Dan and Jo Sullivan. The shimmery white ribbon is from a gift from Jeanne that I received Dec13 when we met at Panera's. The ornament tag is one I made, and had on a gift to Emma. Turned it over and will add a sentiment when I'm ready to send it next Christmas. The little red curling ribbon was on a gift as all my gifts this year had that ribbon on them. Then I punched holes and put some elastic gold cording through the trim on Mary's robe. It's very hard to see in the pic but looks amazing IRL. Oh, placed my card image on white paper and didn't like the way it looked so I edged it and the white base, and the ornament with a gold pen. TADA!

Thanks for coming by!

Wow what a great card. I don't think I could come up with something so beautiful.
I hope your holiday was wonderful. My "baby" is back home in Seattle but she said she might come back in Feb. From her mouth to Gods ears. Keep your fingers crossed.
Everything back to normal here. Dishes, fighting, laundry and grounding. Ahhhh I love this life! lol

Have a great, safe New Year.
