Friends forever

I have a friend. We walk together most evenings during the week at a county park nearby. We love to see the rabbits, squirrels, birds, etc. Thursday night we saw a snake. A harmless snake and it scared us at first and then we had to stop and watch it slither away. Some evenings we count all the rabbits that are out in the grassy areas eating, some evenings we don't see any. It's just the perfect place to get our three miles in at the end of the day. One or both of us are so busy gabbing that the time passes quickly. We met at work and have known each other for 23 years....this card's for her.
My lady bug image is from Daisy Doodles and in the UK they call them ladybirds. I wanted to do another tea bag fold design and Jules suggested one with a ladybird in the middle. Just my luck I had a pattern with a 'hole' in the center for just the right size ladybug. All the patterned paper is from Daisy Doodles and the entire tea bag design is patterned paper. The sentiment is from Daisy Doodles, also, as is the yellow flower and corner border. My ladybug is colored with Prismas and blended with the colorless blender pencil. I punched out black circles 1/4" and glued them on the back of the ladybug. This card is 5 x 5 inches.
I'm going to ask Jules to design a rabbit and squirrel together and make another card for my park walking buddy.
Thanks for coming by!

Very cute! I love the teabag folding you have been doing lately. Your friend will love this card.

We had a HUGE snake in our yard this week end. (Huge for Wisconsin any how - almost 3 foot long.) It made my dog, who went to poke it with her nose, jump straight in the air and then she wasn't sure what to do about it. It slithered off and the dog found a stick to chew. Happy ending for both. :)
